The last day of the half term at Waterloo Lodge School staff and pupils took part in a day of Halloween celebrations.
Staff and students were invited to dress in their best spooky attire, and throughout the day took part in enriching activities such as: creating slime, spooky science experiments and wrapping the mummy.
Miss Sajjad demonstrated how dry ice can create an eerie smoke that filled the classroom.
Students were able to mix food colouring, hydrogen peroxide and baking soda to create elephant’s toothpaste – a foamy but colourful experiment.
Students then put their slime skills to the test using glycerine, food colourings and shaving foam to create their own slimy concoctions.
In the food room, students were invited to create creepy Halloween biscuits. Staff were then able to vote for their favourite creation. Students were each given the same biscuit toppers and asked to create a spooky feel to their biscuit.
