During Friday enrichment KS3/1 used a Pringles tube to create a Kaleidoscope. They started by creating a range of bright and colourful drawings. Pupils decorated the Pringles tube and inserted mirrored card to use to look at their images. The idea behind making the Kaleidoscopes was to understand how light reflects to produce the images inside the Kaleidoscope.
Experimenting with OObleck which KS3/1 created from mixing cornflour and water to create the slimy substance. Pupils learnt about ratios and the importance of using correct amounts to create the perfect texture. This helped them again with their investigative skills.
