School Update

Waterloo Lodge School will temporarily move to online learning from Monday 5th October 2020 due to confirmed cases of COVID 19 in the school community.

Teaching and learning will continue via our on-line learning portal.  For those pupils who cannot access this portal, work packs will be sent home.

I am hoping to reopen the school site to pupils from Friday 16th October 2020.  Unfortunately all pupils will be on reduced timetables.  As I am sure you can appreciate, Waterloo Lodge School is a very small school and to maintain social distancing and ensure the safety of all our pupils and staff I have no alternative other than to reduce the number of pupils in the school at any one time.  I will be writing to all parents and carers individually to confirm the timetabling arrangements for their children.

Pupils should self-isolate for 14 days (as advised by NHS Test and Trace) even if they test negative during the 14 days

The rest of the pupil’s household does not need to self-isolate, unless the pupil or another member of the household tests positive for COVID-19

Can I please reiterate that pupils must NOT attend school if they are displaying symptoms, awaiting test results or while any member of their close family bubble is displaying symptoms.

Thank you for your patience and support during these difficult situations

Please do not hesitate to contact school on for further information.

Warmest regards
