Waterloo Lodge Coffee Afternoon

Waterloo Lodge School held its first Coffee Afternoon of the new academic year, which was a great success, welcoming 16 families for a relaxed and friendly opportunity to strengthen home-school partnerships.

Parents and carers explored their young people’s workbooks and photographs, celebrated their achievements and met key staff to learn more about pastoral support, behaviour systems, therapy services and classroom support. Feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with families valuing the opportunity to see their young people’s progress and share ideas for future events.

This marks the beginning of a planned programme of family engagement, designed to build strong, collaborative relationships and ensure the best possible outcomes for every young person at Waterloo Lodge School.

Coming up in Autumn Term 2: Our next Coffee Afternoon will include talks from the school SENCo and Occupational Therapist.

On December 5^th we will also be holding our annual Christmas Fayre – everyone is welcome.
