COSMO Corner Space Visit

As part of our exciting Space Week celebrations, pupils at Waterloo Lodge School were thrilled to welcome Richard from Cosmo Corner for a hands-on learning experience.

Richard introduced the pupils to Universe Sandbox technology, an interactive tool that allowed them to explore the wonders of our solar system and beyond. The highlight for many was discovering the mysteries of black holes and even creating their own virtual solar systems.

In addition to exploring space, pupils also learned about how rockets work and had great fun engaging in rocket-related activities. The session sparked curiosity in many areas, including space engineering and design, with some pupils expressing a keen interest in working with LEGO in the future. Richard was kept busy answering a wide range of thoughtful and enthusiastic questions!

Space Week was a fantastic opportunity for our pupils to learn through play, exploration, and imagination — truly an out-of-this-world experience!
