Jeans for Genes Day
Waterloo Lodge School will be taking part in this year’s Jeans for Genes Day on Friday 27th September.
1 in 25 children has a genetic disorder that makes their life very difficult. We will be learning about genetic disorders and the work of Jeans for Genes, alongside learning about the International Week of Deaf People in Form time lessons.
All children and staff are invited to wear their jeans on Friday 27th September 2024. We would like everyone to take part so please encourage your child to come to school on the day wearing their jeans with their usual school uniform top, jumper and school shoes. All staff and pupils are asked to donate £1 to participate. Please read the attached letter for further details.
